The tour begins at the Hermenegildo Galeana Flora and Fauna Protection Area, one of the two Natural Protected Areas in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, where our transportation will drop you off.
Here, you will be provided with trekking poles for hiking, which will last approximately 30 minutes before reaching the cave. During the hike, you will have the opportunity to encounter local fauna, such as various birds, coatis, deer, and arthropods.
Once we arrive at the cave, we will have a space to rest and eat lunch. Before entering, you will be provided with a headlamp and helmet so you can explore safely. You will be in the cave for approximately 40 minutes, discovering the beauty and magic of this geological formation.
To conclude the tour, we will hike down to La Majahua Beach, a hidden gem between Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Through the hike, you will be passing by viewpoints overlooking the ocean. At the beach, which is a nesting site for sea turtles, the transportation will pick you up to take you back to your accommodation.
